You can use our mulching kits to easily convert your STIHL lawn mower into a mulch mower at any time. It just takes a couple of minutes: remove the grass catcher box, then fit the mulching insert and replace the standard blade with our multi-blade. Your dealer will also be happy to replace the blade for you. The specially shaped multi-blade will finely shred your grass clippings while mowing, and then the mulching insert will evenly distribute them across the green area. This process returns valuable nutrients to the lawn in the form of organic fertiliser, so your lawn will become denser and healthier.
If you don’t want to neglect lawn care even when it’s wet, our catching kit will help you. It features a curved collection blade, which can transport even damp, heavy grass cuttings and wet leaves to the discharge chute without any risk of blockages.
If you regularly need to move your lawn mower through green spaces with kerb stones or wooden bed edging, or you need to go right up to the building façade, you’ll find the Disc Cut plate useful. It has four oscillating wing blades, which are mounted in such a way that they retract on contact with solid objects and in doing so protect the crankshaft from distortion and damage.
To make your petrol-driven lawn mower last even longer, STIHL offers practical equipment such as our petrol extraction pump and a protective device with which you can shield your power tool’s air filter against dirt. Also recommended: the V-belt pulley, which you can use to adapt the speed of your mower on dense, uneven terrain. For battery lawn mowers with 2 battery slots, you can buy suitable covers so that dust or dirt cannot collect so easily in the slot.
