The STIHL MS Plus Care & Clean Kit value pack contains all the components required for cleaning and maintenance:
First, you can remove coarse dirt from the groove in the guide bar, the oil hole or the cylinder ribs of your STIHL chainsaw. These can be scraped off with the metal blade of the groove scraper and loose dirt particles can be brushed out with the plastic bristles of the cleaning brush. Then spray all parts with the specially developed, gentle STIHL VarioClean Eco universal cleaning agent, which contains 92% natural ingredients. It is certified by Ecocert as an ecological cleaning agent. This allows you to clean all surfaces made of plastic, metals such as iron or aluminium, surfaces with rubber or even paint quickly, effectively and gently. Oil, grease, resin and organic dirt are dissolved as soon as they are sprayed onto the saw chain, bar or machine housing. As an additional aid, you can use the microfibre wash bag as a glove. The parts can then be easily washed off with water.
Cleaning the HD2 air filter of your chainsaw is particularly easy with the microfibre wash bag: After a short contact time with STIHL VarioClean Eco, you can either swivel the filter in the wash bag in warm water or wash it in the washing machine at 60°C, e.g. together with your STIHL cut protection trousers or chaps. As a result, the filter almost regains its new condition, meaning that you do not need a new filter and the environment is protected.
