The files are made of hardened steel, which makes them very robust and durable. They are supplied without a handle, so they are ideal for expanding existing STIHL sharpening sets and file holders.
The round saw chain files are available in various diameters from 3.2 mm to 5.5 mm, enabling you to achieve optimum sharpness for every chain pitch. A small number on the outside of the depth gauge indicates the chain pitch. The greater the chain pitch, the larger the diameter of the chainsaw file needed.
