An integrated fill level indicator on the grass collection box informs you when it is full, as the airflow generated by the blade raises the fill-level indicator. Once the basket is full, the air flow stops. If there is too little airflow, the fill-level indicator returns to an idle state. This is an indication that the collection box of the battery-powered mower needs to be emptied. The fill-level indicator will only work without restriction if there is optimum airflow. External influences such as wet, dense or high grass, low cutting levels, dirt or similar can impair the air flow and the function of the fill level indicator.
The flow-optimised blades of STIHL cordless lawn mowers cut the grass with minimal resistance and swirl only as much air as necessary. This saves a great deal of battery capacity so that the stored energy is sufficient for the largest possible area.
With the central cut-height adjustment, you can create the cut you are looking for. There are several cut-height settings for you to choose from, allowing you to tailor it to your lawn conditions and application precisely. If, for example, you have to deal with discoloured areas in the lawn, you should ensure that you do not set the cutting height too low in addition to regular fertilisation. To scarify your lawn, we recommend cutting the lawn to two to three centimetres beforehand. On the other hand, if you want to tend to bare patches in the lawn, you should mow the lawn as short as possible before sowing seeds.
