    RE-TENSION THE SAW CHAIN TOOL-FREE. Thanks to STIHL Quick Chain Tensioning, you can tension your saw chain quickly and without tools, thanks to the adjusting wheel. Turning the adjusting wheel to the left releases tension on the saw chain, and turning the adjustment wheel to the right tensions the saw chain. The guide bar will be automatically secured when you tighten the sprocket cover.

    LOW-MAINTENANCE AND EFFICIENT. Thanks to its compact design, low weight and high efficiency, the EC engine enables you to work in an energy efficient manner. This engine also has a long service life.

    FOR SAFE STARTING. By pressing the unlock button, you can enable controlled operation of the power tool. Only after it has been pressed is it possible to operate the trigger button. Activation is indicated by a flashing LED. After that, you must start working within 5 seconds or the power tool will switch off again. This prevents the power tool from starting unintentionally when stationary, for example during transport or maintenance.

    The STIHL MSA 160 C-B chainsaw is a powerhouse among battery chainsaws. The direct transmission of power to the STIHL 1/4" PM3 saw chain, along with the intelligently controlled engine performance, ensure excellent cutting power, even for thicker branches and beams. Designed to have a small number of electrical components, the saw is impressively lightweight considering the performance it offers.
